Ha Long Bay

For the past 30 years, I've regularly worked in Ha Long Bay, which borders China to the northeast of Vietnam. My main mission has been to gather a large collection of landscape images and to document the entire bay. This ongoing commitment has allowed me to document the changing geological, ecological, and cultural aspects of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering 1,553 square kilometers and peppered with thousands of limestone karsts and islets, the bay is a sanctuary to me. Through my work, I've aimed to offer a comprehensive portrayal of Ha Long’s geological formations, ecological diversity, and the coexistence of its inhabitants.
